Last Updated on June 29, 2026

Rejuvenate, tone, and nourish skin with a fall facial mask. Apple has numerous benefits for the skin. It’s contains flavonoids, which are antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, & anticarcinogenic constituents that help to prevent damage to the skin from UV damage, air pollution, and other environmental factors.

Sumac is rich in tannins, which help to tone the skin and may help to reduce wrinkles. It’s also a source of nutrients and antioxidants, which can boost the overall health of skin.

Honey pulls fresh blood to the facial tissues and removes dirt & toxins. It is smoothing and softening to the skin, giving it a healthy glow.

Ingredients:

• 1 tsp apple sauce — preferably homemade as store bought versions contain lots of additives

• ¼ tsp sumac

• ½ tsp honey

Directions:

Add the ingredients to a small bowl and mix well to combine.

Smooth the mask onto your face and leave on for 10-15 minutes. Then rinse with warm water, gently massaging face to remove.

After you’ve washed the mask off and patted your face dry, apply an astringent to tone and close the pores.
