Moontime Tea Bombs

When you’re bleeding, some days you just don’t have the energy for self-care.

But, making Moontime Tea Bombs before your period begins is a great way to give your body the support it needs, without much effort.

These tea bombs feature fennel. Studies show it’s as effective as conventional treatments for relieving menstrual pain, making it a perfect ally for cramps and painful periods. I’ve also included a blend of womb loving & mood boosting herbs for extra support during your period.

Ingredients:

  • 4 cups water
  • 2 cups fennel root, diced or 1 tablespoon fennel seed
  • ½ cup fresh ginger root, chopped
  • ½ cup oatstraw
  • 1 tablespoon lady’s mantle

Directions:

Add the water, ginger, and fennel, to a small pot. Cover the pot with a lid. Bring the water to a boil and simmer gently for 15-20 minutes.

Remove from heat and add the oatstraw and lady’s mantle. Let steep until cool.

Strain the tea and pour into ice cube trays to freeze.

Once frozen, store cubes in a sealed and labeled container.

To use: drop 2-3 cubes into a mug and pour hot water over them. Stir in some honey, if desired, and enjoy.
