Hawthorn Ghee Body Butter

Ingredients
  

  • 0.7 oz beeswax
  • 0.7 oz cacao butter
  • 1.5 oz 1.5 oz olive oil infused with hawthorn berries
  • 1 oz ghee
  • ¼ tsp cosmetic grade golden mica (optional)

  • Kitchen scale
  • Double boiler

Method
 

  1. Use one of the methods described above to make a hawthorn infused olive oil.
  2. Combine the beeswax, cacao, infused olive oil, and ghee in a double boiler. 
  3. Heat until fully melted, stirring occasionally to combine. Remove from the heat stir in the mica, if desired. 
  4. Let cool until the mixture is mostly solidified. Then using a whisk or a handheld mixture, whip until light and creamy. 
  5. Spoon into clean jars.
