Flor de Jamaica Popsicles

Course: Snack

Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups water
  • 8 fresh flor de jamaica calyces
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar

Equipment

  • 1 Small pot
  • 1 strainer
  • popsicle molds

Method
 

  1. Add the water and calyces to a pot. Cover, bring to a boil, and simmer for 15-20 minutes. Then remove from the heat and let cool a bit.
  2. While the tea is still warm, strain out the herb and then stir in the sugar and let cool to room temperature.
  3. Pour the sweetened tea into popsicle molds. Place in the freezer until fully frozen.
